AI Prolocutor is an AI phone assistant app developed by Shenzhen Shenglin Qijing Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. (referred to as "the Company", "we", "us", or "our"). The app can use artificial intelligence to make phone calls on your behalf, such as restaurant reservations, customer service follow-ups, hotel bookings, and cross-language phone conversations.

We place great importance on protecting your personal information and privacy. We handle this information with due care and diligence, and we are committed to processing your personal information strictly in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Before using our product, carefully read and fully understand this Privacy Policy. You acknowledge and confirm that when you tap "Agree" to this Privacy Policy, you consent to our processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. How We Collect and Use Personal Information

The information we collect from you or ask you to provide will be used to:

  1. Ensure the basic functions of the product operate properly;

  2. Provide product features and services;

  3. Optimize and improve our products and services;

  4. Protect the security of our products, services, and users; and

  5. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and national standards.

Our product mainly helps AI complete phone conversations on your behalf based on the call scenario, additional information, and task instructions you enter on the call preparation page. During an AI call, if the AI needs you to provide details such as a name, phone number, order number, reservation information, or other task details, the information you voluntarily submit will be used to generate call knowledge and help the AI respond during the call. The AI may speak in the call on your behalf according to your instructions.

The app does not require account registration and does not collect your contacts, photo library, calendar, health data, browsing history, payment information, advertising identifier, or data for advertising tracking. We do not use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

The app may also process information such as your iOS system version, device model, language and region, time zone, App version, WebSocket connection status, and latency data. This information is mainly used to diagnose compatibility issues, analyze software faults, maintain service stability, and continuously improve the product experience. The above diagnostic information is used for local troubleshooting on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

2. Permissions Required to Provide Features or Services

We respect and protect the privacy of all users. To provide the relevant features, the following permissions may be requested. You may withdraw these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. After withdrawal, the corresponding feature may no longer be available.

Microphone Access: Used to collect voice input, call audio, or speech-to-text audio so that the app can provide real-time AI processing, voice input, call communication, and AI speaking during calls.

Speech Recognition: Used when you choose Apple Speech Recognition to convert your speech into text for the call preparation page or other voice input scenarios. Apple Speech Recognition may process the audio on Apple servers when local recognition is not used.

Location Access While Using the App: Used only when you actively use the "Search Nearby" feature to find restaurants, places, or other points of interest.

Bluetooth Access: Used to connect Kikago earphones or compatible Bluetooth audio devices and transmit necessary audio data between the device and the app.

Network Access: Used for AI service requests, nearby search requests, device authentication token requests, software updates, and to ensure real-time calling functions work properly.

Local Storage: Used to save call transcripts, WAV audio files, call history, call preparation drafts, and your in-app preferences, such as the selected AI model, voice input method, language, and related settings.

Read Current Running Services: The app may process necessary information related to currently running features. This information may include, but is not limited to, device model, system version, app version, network status, local diagnostic information, voice input content, AI call text content, call audio, device identifiers, and local call records.

3. Additional Notes on Third-Party SDK Permissions

To complete relevant functions and provide a better user experience, we may integrate third-party SDKs or third-party services for technical support, such as real-time voice AI, text generation, speech recognition, nearby place search, and Bluetooth audio device connection. We carefully evaluate the purposes for which service providers use shared information, assess their security protection capabilities, and require them to comply with legal agreements. We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to provide the same or equivalent level of privacy and security protection as described in this Privacy Policy, and to use the data only for the purposes stated here. We conduct strict security monitoring of SDKs that access information to protect data security.

The following describes the service providers and data processing involved in AI Prolocutor:

  1. Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Tongyi Qianwen / Qwen, Alibaba)
  • Data received: Real-time call audio, conversation text, call preparation information you provide, such as name, phone number, reservation details, order details, and necessary context.
  • Purpose: Speech recognition, AI response generation, speech synthesis, translation, and summary generation.
  • Server location: Mainland China.

  1. Amap / AutoNavi (Alibaba)
  • Data received: Device location coordinates while you use the nearby search feature.
  • Purpose: Searching nearby businesses or services and returning POI results.

  1. Kikago / VoicePie Backend (kikago.cn)
  • Data received: Kikago device serial number (SN), phone identifierForVendor UUID, appid, and sku.
  • Purpose: Issuing a one-hour temporary authentication token after device whitelist verification.
  1. Apple Speech Recognition
  • Data processed: Voice audio you actively provide for transcription.
  • Purpose: Converting speech into text when you use Apple Speech Recognition as the speech-to-text method.
  • Note: Apple Speech Recognition is not forced to run locally, and audio may be processed by Apple servers.

  1. Kikago SDK
  • Scenario: Used to connect Kikago earphone chips or compatible Bluetooth audio devices.
  • Types of information processed: Bluetooth device connection status, necessary device information, and audio frame data.
  • Purpose: Transmitting audio data between the phone and the hardware device, and ensuring device connection and call audio functions work properly.

We do not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not use advertising identifiers and do not conduct user tracking.

4. Call Audio, Storage, Retention, and Cross-Border Processing

During AI calling and hardware-assisted calling, call audio is processed in real time and may be recorded and saved locally on your device for call history playback. The AI may speak in the call on your behalf according to the task instructions and information you provide.

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your location and the location of the other call participant. Some regions require all parties to a call to be informed of or consent to recording or AI-assisted calling. You should ensure that your use of call recording and AI speaking features is lawful.

Local storage on your device: WAV call recordings (Documents/call_audio), call history, call preparation drafts, transcripts, and app settings are stored on your device only. These local records are not uploaded to our servers.

Cloud or service-provider processing: During a call, voice input, call preparation, nearby search, or device authentication request, the necessary information described in Section 3 may be transmitted in real time to the listed service providers for processing. The app itself does not create user accounts and does not retain conversation content on our own servers.

Cross-border processing notice: The Qwen/DashScope AI service and Kikago/VoicePie backend may process relevant request data on servers located in Mainland China. By using the relevant features, you understand that the necessary data for those requests may be transmitted to and processed in Mainland China.

Retention and deletion: Locally stored call history and recordings remain on your device until you delete them in the app where deletion controls are provided, or until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from the device according to iOS behavior. We retain personal information only for the shortest period necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless laws or regulations require otherwise or you separately authorize an extended retention period.

5. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Personal Information

  1. Sharing

You agree that we may share your personal information with service providers and affiliates that support the features described in this Privacy Policy, including the service providers listed in Section 3. This support includes infrastructure technology services, AI processing, nearby search, device authentication, and data processing necessary for app features. These service providers and affiliates are not permitted to use your personal information for purposes unrelated to those stated in this Privacy Policy. If they need to change the processing purpose, they will obtain your separate authorization and consent.

  1. Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances: transfer with explicit consent. After obtaining your explicit consent, we may transfer your personal information to another party.

  1. Public Disclosure

We will publicly disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances:

  1. We disclose the personal information you specify in a manner to which you have explicitly consented.

  2. We may publicly disclose your personal information when required by laws, regulations, mandatory administrative enforcement, or judicial requirements, based on the requested type of personal information and disclosure method. When permitted by laws and regulations, if we receive such a disclosure request, we will require the requesting party to provide corresponding legal documents, such as a subpoena or investigation letter.

  3. Please understand that, according to laws, regulations, and/or relevant national standards, we may share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without your authorization or consent in the following circumstances:

  • Directly related to national security or national defense security;

  • Directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;

  • Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;

  • Necessary to protect your or another individual's major lawful interests, such as life or property, where it is difficult to obtain your consent;

  • Personal information that you have disclosed to the public yourself; or

  • Personal information collected from lawful public disclosures, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosures.

6. How We Protect Personal Information

We place great importance on the security of users' personal information. We use commonly adopted data protection technologies and management measures, such as network isolation, data encryption, access control, malicious code prevention, and security audits.

Please understand that although we take reasonable measures in accordance with the law to protect your information, no system or network is absolutely secure. If our physical, technical, or administrative safeguards are compromised, resulting in unauthorized access, public disclosure, alteration, or destruction of information and causing damage to your lawful rights and interests, we will bear responsibility within the scope required by law. We will also make every effort to hold the infringing party legally accountable, and we hope you will cooperate with us to the best of your ability.

In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will notify you in accordance with laws and regulations of the basic facts and possible impact of the incident, the measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to prevent and reduce risks, and any remedial measures available to you. We will notify you by email, push notification, or other methods. If it is difficult to notify each personal information subject individually, we will publish an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. We will also report the handling of the personal information security incident to regulatory authorities as required.

7. Your Rights

We place great importance on your control over your personal information. We make every effort to protect your rights to access, modify (update or correct), delete, withdraw consent, and cancel your account, so that you have sufficient ability to protect your privacy and security. We will handle your requests in a timely manner.

  1. Manage and Withdraw Authorization

You may withdraw your consent by turning off features or changing app permissions in your device settings. This allows you to change the scope of personal information you authorize us to continue collecting or withdraw your authorization. Please understand that specific business functions and services require your information to operate. After you withdraw consent or authorization, we will no longer be able to provide the corresponding functions and services, and we will no longer process the related personal information. However, your withdrawal of consent or authorization will not affect personal information processing previously conducted based on your authorization.

You can view the full text of this Privacy Policy on the "About" page in the app. Please understand that the relevant services described in this Privacy Policy may vary depending on your phone model, system version, software application version, mobile client, and other factors. The final products and services are subject to the software and related services you actually use.

  1. Right to Be Notified if Operations Stop

If we stop operating, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you of the cessation of operations by individual notice or public announcement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold about you.

  1. Access, Deletion, Complaints, and Reports

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the email address listed in this Privacy Policy. You may also file a complaint or report through the channels we disclose. If you believe that your personal information rights may have been infringed, or if you discover clues relating to infringement of personal information rights, you may contact us through "About" - "User Feedback" in the app. After verification, we will respond to your complaint or report within 7 business days.

8. Terms for Minors

AI Prolocutor is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18 years old, you should read and agree to this Privacy Policy together with your parent or other guardian, under their supervision and guidance, before using the software and related services.

We protect minors' personal information in accordance with applicable national laws and regulations. We collect, use, share, or disclose minors' personal information only when permitted by law, with the explicit consent of a parent or other guardian, or when necessary to protect minors. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without prior verifiable parental consent, we will try to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

9. How This Privacy Policy Is Updated

The Company may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Without your explicit consent, we will not reduce the rights you are entitled to under this Privacy Policy. The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. After this Privacy Policy is updated, we will show you the updated Privacy Policy through push notifications or pop-up windows during version updates, so that you can learn about the latest version in a timely manner. The app will also provide an entry where you can review it. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you through a website notice. If you continue to use our services, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Policy. If the update involves collecting sensitive personal information such as IP addresses, contacts, contact information, or location, we will ask for your consent again.
